POST HOTEL AND SPA

For our article, we shall overview the Post Hotel and Spa Resort, located near the scenic Lake Louise, in the province of Alberta. The resort is not many miles from Calgary, the provinces largest city.


According to Travel and Leisure, this hotel/spa resort is ranked as Canada’s top hotel. It also has at total of 93 rooms, 5 houses, 2 restaurants, and 2 bars. The hotel also has been featured in many travel magazines and has won a few awards, including the Wine Spectator’s “Grand Award.”


The hotel was built in 1942 as the Lake Louise Ski Lodge. A British airline manufacturer, Sir Norman Watson, originally owned it. In 1958, the name of the place was changed to the Post Hotel and Spa. In 1978, Sir Watson sold the place to its current owners, Andre and George Schwartz. Since then, the hotel/spa has been transformed to a world-class hotel and spa resort.


Moreover, the hotel/spa resort’s accommodations include a nice mountainside view, excellent guest parking, a ski lodge, a luxurious spa facility, meeting/banquet facilities, wedding reception room, a media room to receive members of the press, concierge service, and other services.
