This article is the last part in our series of the best hotels of New York City. This final part will talk about the Best Western Presidential Hotel, including some of its amenities and features. Therefore, without further interruption, we shall begin our series on this hotel.


Located in the heart of downtown Manhattan, on 234 West 48th Street, the hotel is just blocks away from the Rockefeller Center and Radio Music City Hall.


For the features of this hotel, they include 238 non-smoking rooms, 46 suites, 2 penthouses, and an array of inner and outer room services and amenities. These services and amenities include a 24-hour desk service, fax sending and receiving service, ice/vending machines, a number of elevators, and gift shops to buy the latest products.


In addition, the guest service amenities include a color TV, free local calls, free long distance, a phone with voicemail, a personal hairdryer, coffee/tea maker, completely newspaper and plenty more!


The executive rooms have both cable and satellite TV services, two-line telephones with voicemail, a desk to write on, a high-speed Internet connection, and upgraded bathrooms with personal toiletries.


Moving on to the features of the penthouses in the hotel, the features include modern furniture pieces, a state-f-the-art equipment center, panel-sliding doors, a private Jacuzzi and a eight-foot long sink. Talk about amenities, these are sure to satisfy the tastes of even the wealthiest of residents.


In addition, those who stay in a penthouse must pay a $500 damage deposit, no parties are allowed, and check-in must be paid via credit card or cash (no debit cards!)


Now, for the rates of the rooms, they start at $180 a night and go as high as $280 a night (depending on club membership, types of services being used, etc.) Of course, the suites are much expensive and the penthouses are really expensive to stay in, so make sure to bring all your credit cards and cash, if you plan to stay there.

COPACABANA PALACE


Next is one of the world’s most famous hotels, and we will take a tour of the “Copacabana Palace” located in the bustling and infamous city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

For a bit of details about the luxury hotel, the hotel is owned by the Orient Express firm, has 108-118 rooms, a few restaurants and bars and places to relax your mind and body.

Furthermore, the hotel was opened in 1923 and was owned by the Guinle family until 1988, when it was sold to the Orient Express firm, which began an extensive renovation of the hotel. That is product of what how the hotel looks like today.

Also, the hotel has housed and served famous guests, such as Orson Wells, Ava Gardner, Calvin Kline and former U.S. president, Bill Clinton.


Now, for the hotel’s restaurants and bars, the elegant restaurant, “Bife de Ouro,” the semi-elegant, “Pergula,” the bar “Copa Plano” and the “Hotel Cipriani” restaurant, are all fine places to enjoy delicious meals and/or glass of fine, vintage wine. Although, there is not official dress code at any of these restaurants and bars, it is best to dress either smart casual or elegant casual.
